Okay, so Grace was showing me the dance guidelines for her high school dance. I will now quote from the paper.
"Appropriate dancing shall be required at all times. What constitutes appropriate dancing is left to the descretion of the chaperone. However, students are to refrain from the following:
Inappropriate dancing
- Students may not bend over, place their hands on the floor or wrap their legs around other persons.
- Students may not pull dresses above their thighs or wear trousers below their waists. The exposure of private parts and undergarments is strictly prohibited.
- GROPING IS PROHIBITED.
- Students may not dance in a manner that simulates sexual acts. Front or back grinding and/or sandwich dancing will not be allowed."
Oh my word! Are you kidding me? This is outrageous that they have to specifically state these things in a letter for parents and students to sign. It was bad when I was in high school 10 years ago, but not THIS bad! Thank goodness for youth dances, now they just need to happen a little more often.
My kids will not be attending school, ever....well, I don't know, but still......GEESH!
