WHAT THE HECK!!!! SOMMER....come and help me, seriously! Blogger is being really mean and nasty and not letting me type anything with the pictures I put up....GRRRRR!!!! Talk about frustrating!
What I wanted to say in "I LOVE my family!":
Last Friday my brothers and sister came over so that I could take their pictures for Christmas gifts. We had a lovely time together. There was a little bit of silliness going on (pretty typical) and lots of smiling, laughing, and loving. I seriously LOVE my family and am very greatful to be a part of it, too.
By the way....we got a new camera (Nikon D40....woo hoo!)....isn't the picture quality just wonderful?! I'm in love.....I miss taking photos, and now I can use my "skills" and get back into it again. YAY!

Gingerbread house
For some reason, Blogger isn't letting me write anywhere else but down here.....hmmmm....maybe it's just me. Anyways.....
We built a Gingerbread house together a couple of nights ago. Isabella just LOVED it! She especially liked licking the icing off of her fingers. We had a great time together, and built a masterpiece, if I can say so. It was nice to be able to spend time together as a family.

Two months too fast
My sweet little boy is 2 months old as of Thursday....it's just not fair. I wish that it all didn't go by so fast. But at the same time, I'm really happy that he's smiley now. So far, Alexander is nice and healthy. He weighed in at 13 lbs and is 23 inches long. He's definately nice and plump...just how I like my babies to be. He's not doing a lot of exciting things right now. Just eating (like crazy!), sleeping (great at night....like 6 hours straight for me.....YAY), cooing a little, and smiling when I talk to him (this is my favorite). I wonder if he's going to have a temper issue....sometimes when I take him off to burp him, he will get SO MAD. I'm just a mean ol' mami, not letting him finish his meal first. He's also starting "talking" to Isabella, which is so cute. She will show him her toys and give him big hugs and kisses and sometimes he talks to her. I just love it. I'm so greatful my little man has made it this far in life. I hope he continues to be nice and healthy.

Mary
For the past couple of days now, I've been thinking of Mary, Jesus' mother, every time I hold Alexander. I love my son so much, and want so much for him. I can only imagine how much Mary loved her new baby. I wonder what games she played with Him, what she sang to Him, how He smiled at her. I bet she was in awe knowing that He was the Son of God. What a humbling thing that would be, to be chosen to bring the Savior of Men into the world. She sacrificed so much to bring Him into the world. She experienced the pains and joys of having a new baby. And I'm sure she was just as tired as any new mother is in the middle of the night. I look forward to seeing Mary again one day and talking with her. What kind of mother was she? She was loving, and caring, and she worried. She worked hard to teach her son and to guide Him as he grew stronger in mind and body. I'm sure she also learned an aweful lot from Him. I am very greatful for Mary, for she brought our King into this world. I hope that I can love my children and take care of them so that they grow up to be wonderful individuals.
How I love Primary Songs
I love Primary....and I love the songs they sing. It makes teaching children gospel principles so much easier. Here are two videos of Isabella singing Primary songs. The first one is "Head, shoulders, knees and toes" and the second one is "I hope they call me on a mission". ENJOY!

We love Ben!
Ben Finnigan....you are our hero! Ben has spent several hours at our house a couple of evenings trying to help us with our many computer problems. Last night we bought a new hard drive for the computer and Ben graciously came over and put it in for us. THANKS BEN!!!! You do so much for us, and we are forever greatful! We love you!

Sleepy head
This is on the way home from my daddy's house Thanksgiving day. Isabella didn't get a nap that day and was such a good girl. She was eating an "olly lolly" (lolly pop) and looking a movie box and fell asleep with them in her hands. If you look closely, you can see the lolly pop in her hand (it's pinkish/reddish....and right beneath the movie).

It's finally time!!!!!!!
Alexander
Here are just a few pictures of Alexander at 7 weeks. He's getting so big and changing so fast. I can't believe it. I wish I could slow down time.
What a big girl!
Isabella LOVES to hold Alexander. And her newest thing is holding him all by herself. It scares me a little bit, but I make sure to stay really close. I also have Alexander straddle her and make her put her arms under his arms. She thinks it's so funny when Alexander tries to eat her shirt. I hope they are going to be best friends.
This is my FAVORITE picture of the two of them. They are both just looking at each other so sweetly.
