An attempt to camp
A few weeks ago Isabella and I went camping in our backyard. Well, we attempted to, but then a big bad storm came through and messed everything up, so we dragged our stuff into the garage and slept in our beds. Even though we didn't get to actually camp outside, we did gather wood for our campfire, roast a few marshmallows (mmmm....smores), and read a story together in the tent. I wish it hadn't stormed. We would've had a grand time sleeping outside. We even brought blankie and our pillows (and a flashlight). We will try this again, soon.
The perfect chair
Did you ever sit in a box to read, or watch a movie when you were a kid? Maybe it was your race car, or your speed boat? How about a house out of a box? I used to love empty boxes. Once, my Uncle Bart cut out a door (that opened and closed.....so cool) and windows from a big refrigerator box. I remember standing on a chair in the kitchen, looking out of the window into the mud room, and watching him cut those great big pieces of cardboard. I was so excited for my new play house. Grant, Nathan and I all fit in it perfectly (well, it was a little snug). We played in that house for a long time. Then it disappeared. Boxes are GREAT!

Dear Sommer and Ben,
Isabella is going to marry her boy. Every day, several times a day, she talks about this boy. Usually he's on his way home, or at work. Isabella loves her boy. This morning Ronald asked Isabella what her boys name is. His name is Ben.
Isabella came down the stairs a little later with her blankie around her shoulders like a cape. I commented that she was the most beautiful princess I have ever seen. I asked her what her name was. She said her name was Sommer.
I think my little girl LOVES you both. What do you think?
Love,
Caitlin

Some wonderful help
Today on the way home from church, we were talking about how Heavenly Father helps everyone, because he loves them and wants to help them. Isabella then said, "Sometimes angels help me." What a beautiful thing to hear from a little almost 3 year old girl. I love her and her spirit, and I love the way she makes me feel when she says things like that. Something to think about.

Don't Polute (Anymore)
During nap time, Isabella changed into her swimsuit, by herself. I didn't know this until I went in to nurse Alexander back to sleep. Silly girl. Always changing her clothes and bring a ba-gillion books into bed with her.
