Skeet shooting

As a Thanksgiving morning tradition in our family, the men go to my Uncle Jeffrey's house and shoot skeet (clay pigeons). Ronald was very excited to go this year, especially since Uncle Jeffrey got him a shot gun last year at Christmas. Daddy went, too, so he took the pictures. They had a lot of fun, and Ronald even hit some of the pigeons. Good job baby!

The thing on the bottom right is what launches the skeet into the air.

Oh dear.....

Ronald and I are a little unusual (which I think most people are in their own way). Our daughter is taking after us. We were getting ready to go to my mom's house Thanksgiving day, and she came up to us with a baby ring in her nose. We did not (for once....haha) encourage her to do this. She did it all on her own.

We were cracking up about this for a LONG time. She is definately our daughter.

My funny girl

When Isabella was a baby, she hated her pacy. Apparently, she likes it now. I was rotating her toys (I keep some in storage, so when she gets bored, she has something "new" to play with) and she found her pacy in there. Well she grabbed that thing so fast and stuck it in her mouth. She walked around with it all day.

Making her baby doll (that she also found in the storage bin) dance to "The new girl in town" off of the movie "Hairspray".

IT'S SNOWING!

The first snow of the year is so exciting! I am secretly hoping for a lot of snow so we can make a good snow man with Isabella this year. We made one last year, too, but this year she understands. The only thing about the cold that I like is the snow. If we don't have snow, the cold is just miserable, but I can tolerate it better if there is snowing beautiful to look at.

Showing me the snow on her coat.
Alexander's first snow. He wasn't impressed.

I couldn't get Isabella to stay still for the picture...she was too excited.
Mami's happy...can you tell?

My favorite boys

I love the Finnigans. They are our best friends, and we are truely blessed to have them in our life. The boys, Brandon and Nathan, are just so sweet, and so fun. Isabella always talks about them and wants to go to their house. We went over there to play one day shortly after Sommer and the boys came back from house sitting for her parents. It was a nice reunion. We really missed them. I seriously love these boys as if they were my own. They are my favorite boys.

"Brandon soooo handsome" -Isabella

Little Nathan loves this little farm. Maybe he'll be a farmer one day.

Brandon kept saying "cheese". So I took another picture. Cute boy.

The kids were in the "tunnel" (under the kitchen table).

Oatmeal and a bug

Isabella LOVES her oatmeal. She asks for it every morning. The other day I came downstairs to find this....

she was eating raw oatmeal. I guess she couldn't wait for me any longer.
Ronald put Isabella's wings on Alexander...isn't he so cute?

Daddy's birthday

I love my daddy. Seriously, I just might be the biggest "daddy's girl" you've ever met. I got to make him dinner for his birthday. So we packed up the kids and went to his house and spent the evening with him.

Why I love my Daddy:
He always played with us when we were kids and had us star in our own music video (with Michael Jackson singing in the background).
He takes good care of himself.
He's funny.
He loves his grandkids and gets so excited when we are expecting a child...I love that!
He is the best listener, he really cares.
He is a really hard worker and taught us kids to work hard, too.
He loves the gospel.
He loves me.

Daddy has what I call the "magic fingers". Any baby he holds he can calm just by putting his finger up to the kids mouth. I guess it's from lots of experience.
See? A calm baby with the magic finger.
Me and Gracie.....the oldest and youngest of Daddy's babies.
