Let's Make a Cake!!!!

Today I had to make a trial cake for a bridal shower that I am hosting next Saturday. Isabella loves to help do all kinds of things, so I thought maybe she would like to help me make a cake. I sat her up in a chair, gave her a small mixing bowl and a wooden spoon, and whatever dry ingredients I used, she could have some too. She would stir it, put some on her cup, put some on the table, and even taste it....although she didn't like the taste of it. Once the batter was done, (before adding the eggs) I let her taste the batter. She loved it. She kept saying "mas, mas, mommy mas". (Mas is more in Spanish) It was very nice having her there with me. She kept watching me to see what I was doing. It was sweet. I loved having her help me.

On a different note....it has now been a whole week that I have felt a little better than normal. I've also been eating a little bit for a week now. HOW EXCITING!!! This pregnancy has definatley been different than with Isabella. I am still getting sick, but not quite as much, which is really nice. I'm not keeping my fingers crossed or anything, but I hope that soon I won't be feeling sick at all. At least I'm doing better than I've been doing. Pretty soon I might even get to stop my TPN all together (my bag of nutrients that's kept me alive thus far). That would be really good, as long as I can still keep stuff down. Keep praying for me. I've got a ways to go still (I'm only 15 weeks into this adventure.), but atleast all is well so far.
