My Beloved Prophet

The prophet and leader of our church (The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints), President Gordon B. Hinckley, passed away last night, at the age of 97, due to old age. It is a sad thing for me. He was such a great man, an exceptional leader, and he did so many wonderful things for the church. He has served as prophet and president of our church for more than 12 years. He has built so many temples....I don't know the exact number right now....but it's a LOT. I am humbled by the life he led, his spirit of enthusiasm, and his love for mankind and especially for the Saviour. I know that he was truly a man of God. He will be missed.

Selling Myself

I finally decided to attempt to sell myself....or rather the things I make with the talent I've been blessed with. Check out my shop, I will be updating it frequently as I make more things. Hopefully, this talent of mine will be a blessing in my life, and I can use to more than just at Christmas time. CHECK ME OUT!

Food Chart

Thanks to Aunt Mai Grace, I got the idea to make my own food tracking chart for Isabella. It took me hardly any time to make it, and it cost less than $1 to make. I used it today to keep track of what she ate, so I can see how balanced her diet is. By the end of the day....I was seriously lacking in some areas, so now I know what I need to focus on when feeding Isabella. I love saving money....it's the BEST!

Fussy baby alert!

HELP!!! Isabella has been soooo fussy recently. I want to say it's all those teeth she is cutting, or maybe it's her age, but she is just not herself! Does anyone have any suggestions for help? I would greatly appreciate it. I just don't know what to do with her!

Let it snow, Let it snow, Let it snow!

Yesterday it snowed about 2-3 inches. It was so beautiful! Since Grace is here for the weekend, we were able to go outside and build a snowman together. It was soooo cold, but way fun. When Isabella woke up from her nap, we bundled her up and brought her outside with us. Ronald came home to the most beautiful snowman ever!....atleast in our eyes.

Cruising and Babbling

Isabella has had no interest in walking since her 14 month birthday (December 21). I cannot believe how fast the time goes by, and I feel like she's not even a baby anymore....how sad! But I must admit, I do love being entertained by her. She is at such a fun stage in her life. She loves lots of attention, to play games, and she LOVES her books. I look forward to when it starts warming up in a few months so that she and I can go outside together more often. Isabella's vocabulary is definately starting to pick up...which I think is from all of those books she loves so much. She constantly has something to say....and if you don't talk back to her, she will repeat whatever she said until you say something back to her that she wants you to say. She is also starting to hit a little bit....which is not fun....but she only does this at church, near the end. (I think it's because she is soooo tired.) I can't wait until Isabella can speak sentences that I understand....it'll be so much fun! I love this whole "MAMI" thing...it's the best.

The Beginning of the Blog

I got this great idea from a girl named likely to start up my own blog. This way all of you can still see update on Isabella and the family, and I can save money! Enjoy looking here, and email me or comment if you so choose. With love....Caitlin.
