A Day with Auntie Beebs

Auntie Beebs and Isabella
Helping Mami hang clothes on the line.
I love my Auntie Beebs!

Getting ready to go for a walk.
Looking at Papi's hard work....he does such a good job.
Little Miss Independent....she loves her walks....especially when she is allowed to walk by herself.
Thinking about getting in the stroller....
but she decided she really didn't want to do that.
Gracie comes to stay with us every other Friday night. Saturday morning Grace, Isabella, and I went for a walk around the neighborhood and then hung the laundry out to dry. Isabella and I usually take a walk everyday (when it's not down pouring), so it was nice to have Grace come with us. Isabella loves when her Auntie Beebs comes to stay.

Flashbacks...Wii play at the Finnigan's

Ben and Ronald playing DDR....they did really well. It was a fun game.
Ronald and Gracie playing DDR.
Isabella LOVES this thing! This thing has taught her how to jump, seriously....it's very funny to watch her in this.

I had to wake up my little punkin from her nap....she was wiped out...she never sleeps this heavily.

Okay....I have been really bad at updating this thing....so now I have some serious backtracking to do. A couple of weeks ago we went to the Finnigan's to play on their Wii and have snacks....it was sooo much fun! We played Mario Cart and DDR (Dance Dance Revolution), it was a blast. My favorite was DDR....if we had that game, I would play it all the time, it's addicting. We stayed until 10pm, which is WAY past Isabella's bedtime, but she did really well. I actually had to wake her up from her nap before we went there, so she was an angel. I loved watching everyones facial expressions, but Ben and Ronald were the most fun to watch....they were soooo serious.

Fun at the Finnigan's

My sweet friend Sommer called this morning and invited us to come to her house and play with her boys Brandon and Nathan. Tracey Pierce was there with her two boys also. Poor Isabella, the only girl....even though she really didn't mind all those boys. Jeannie (I hope I spelled her name right) was there too. We had so much fun playing outside with the kids, and it was really nice to get some "adult time".
Looking at the empty bubbles container. Isabella and Brandon both LOVED "blowing bubbles".
Isabella attempting to blow bubbles.
Cutie pie Nathan and Isabella. Nathan is the cutest, chunkiest little boy I've ever see. We love Nathan.
Isabella going the wrong way up the slide. She had to be just like those boys.
Brandon blowing bubbles. Brandon and Isabella are just about the same age. They just love each other.
I LOVE this picture.

Climbing, choking and pacy's

Isabella has decided this week that she must climb on EVERYTHING. Her favorite things to climb on are this little table by the front window (so she can look for Papi and the ninas) and the kitchen table. Ronald and I are definately not fond of her new love for climb on dangerous furniture, what are we to do?

Wednesday Isabella climbed on the kitchen table and retreived an apple, brought it to me, and started chowing down. About three or four bites into the apple, she gagged and then turned dark purple. SHE WAS CHOKING! HELP! Talk about a parents worst nightmare. At least I knew what to do and the piece came up, but I forgot to take it out of her mouth so 5 seconds later, she choked on it again. This time I took the piece out. She choked on the skin....it was about the size of a nickle, and very thin. She (and I) were both so scared after it happened. I just held her for about 10 minutes, let her cry on my shoulder, and thanked Heavenly Father that she was alive. When her crying was done, what did she want? The apple. Silly girl. This time I peeled it.

Isabella has never been fond of her pacy, she always wanted the real thing. Well, she found her pacy, and to my surprise, she has decided that she is in love with it. By the way she acts with it, it's as if she's loved it all along. Silly girl....

Mother's Day

Ronald, Isabella and myself. Ronald just woke up from a nap....hence the tired looking face.
Isabella, mami, and Nanny (my mom).
Isabella and Auntie Beebs (Grace).
My baby bump, I'm almost 17 weeks....yeah! Ronald got me this dress as part of my mother's day present.

For Mother's Day we went to church and then to my mom's house for a late lunch. It was really nice to see my family. Isabella was really good, even though she only slept about 15 minutes in the car.

Bridal Shower for Andrea

Me and the bride, Andrea Rennie....soon to be Moss.
Getting ready to undress the Groom (we stuffed Brian's clothes with stuff).
April (on the right) is preparing to smack Andrea on the bottom with Brian's hand.

Pictures across our piano of the soon to be bride and groom.
More pictures of the bride and groom.
The cake I'm so proud of....I made everything from scratch!
The table with most of the refreshments.
Overflow of guests on my steps....there were so many people I didn't have enough seats for everyone.

Half of the guests that came.
And the other half....so many people!
The proud cake baker and decorater (don't mind my crazy hair).
Amy stealing a kiss from the groom. (Amy is Andrea's older sister and my best friend. She helped me so much, thanks Amy.) Thank goodness that wasn't really Brian. (We were really giddy when this happened, it was around 1 am.

I hosted a bridal shower for one of my friends Andrea Rennie. I have literally known her since she was born....so she's practically like a sister to me. It was the second shower I had been to, so I was really nervous (the first one was my own) and had no idea what I was doing. It went really well. There were 22 adults and 5 children all crammed into my townhouse. It was very very full, and sometimes a little noisy, but it was a lot of fun. I hope Andrea enjoyed it. (By the way....the cake was made 100% from scratch, and it was the first cake I have ever decorated using tips.....I was so proud)

Off to the Playground

Ronald and I took Isabella to our relatively new community playground and then we went for a walk together. I love taking a walk with my family....it is way more fun with Ronald, than just Isabella and myself. Isabella has become fixated with the swing. She loves to get in and HATES to get out. She throws quite the fit (which is of course much bigger if I take her out....for some reason she barely throws a fit for Ronald) when it's time to get out. She could probably live in the swing if she had that as an option....silly girl. The wagon you see was a find at Goodwill. Ronald got it there for about 20 bucks....that's it! I was/am so proud of my bargain finder.
