A wet girl and a slip n' slide

Isabella is SOAKING wet....I eventually just took her little dress off of her.
Splashing in the water at the end of the slip n' slide.

Our neighbors invited us over for a birthday party for their daughter Asia who turned six. The had a slip n' slide out front, which was fun for the kids. Asia tried to get Isabella to go down it, but she just screamed....she was terrified. The part she liked was at the end, where all the water collected. She would stick her little hands in there and just splash away.

Saturday was a special day...

Me, Alicia Scott, Nicole Brooks, and Debbie Brooks in front of the Washington D.C. Temple
Two of our cute girls.

Debbie Brooks and I took two of our Activity Day Girls down to the temple and the visitors center on Saturday. We walked around the temple ground, watched the movie "Legacy", and had lunch before we went back home. It was a really nice trip. I wish that the other girls in our group would've come, but the four of us had a wonderful time.

Ice Cream Cone Girl

ATTACK!!!!!

Look at the drippage.
A very happy and very messy girl.

On our way back from Taco Bell, I wanted an ice cream cone, and as soon as I said those three words, Isabella wanted one too....and she talked about it the WHOLE WAY HOME. So we stopped at the store and bought some icecream. She was a very happy girl.

New Baby's Teddy Bear

Please vote for a name for our new baby's teddy bear. If you can think of another name, and I really really like it, I'll add it to the poll. Let me know what you think. THANKS!

Too much work for a pregnant woman?

Little miss has been climbing up onto the window sill and standing on it, so I decided it was officially time to re-arrange....plus I just had to change things up.
I really want to recover those chairs, but I hear that wingback chairs are the hardest to do. sigh....someday I will do it.
The new paint (gold coin....I LOVE the color) is on the left. I'm hoping Ronald will sand down and fix all the really difficult spots on the other wall so that I can paint it this week.
After I put Isabella to bed, I started the trim. Our room is going to look so much better when everything is done.
I washed and wiped down the bassinett yesterday. I know I really didn't need to do it for another month or two, but what the heck.....might as well get it done. Isabella kept putting her baby in it. She wanted to get into it too....silly girl.

Yesterday I had this urge to fix up the house. I painted about 2/3's of our bedroom, and I re-arranged our living room (except Ronald moved the piano....it was way too heavy for me...and I shouldn't move it while I'm expecting.) I also cleaned up the bassinett for the baby, did laundry, swept and mopped, and made dinner (Ronald reminded me of the dinner part last night....I thought that it was funny that he was emphisizing that.....I make dinner every night.) It was a very busy day for me, and by the end of the day my back was killing me. At least it feels a little better today.

Isabella yesterday

Me and Ronald before he left to go biking with the scouts.
Trying to put her swim suit on.
She found one of my crochet hooks, climbed up in this chair and said "Mami, crochet?", so I made a little chain for her and watched her try to crochet.
She just can't figure out how to crochet. I can't wait to teach her how to crochet when she gets older.
Holding the bear I made for our new baby. She calls is "baby oso".
A not so sweet girl at the end of the day. She was mad that I took the sunblock away from her.
You can see some of the sunblock on her cheek.

Making dinner (at 10 am).
She like to get into my dresser because she knows that's where I keep my wedding necklace. She requested that I put it on her, and then she wanted a "clippy" too. This is right after I put it on her.

Looking at the pretty princesa.
She wanted to sit on mami's lap and have her picture taken. Ronald loves this picture of her. I love how you can see her long eyelashes.

Yesterday Isabella was a very sweet, and very busy little girl. These are just some random pictures from yesterday.

Old Times Parade

Kate, me, and Isabella at the end of the day. The girls were so good. Kate and Isabella at the end of the parade. It was really humid, and we were all very sweaty.
Two sweet pretty girls.
Kate and Jenny.Isabella and Mami....she was a little afraid of the loud big rigs....some of their horn were really loud.

A few of the tractors that went by.

Uncle Grant and Kate looking for candy.

Checking out the parade, they just LOVED it.

Kate bringing candy back to our bag. She was so excited everytime they threw candy. She would say "I gotta get the candy."
Isabella picking up a piece of candy that she found.

Saturday Mom, Aunt Mai Grace, Uncle Nathan, Aunt Jennifer, Grandma Smith and Grace went to my cousin's wedding, so I had the priviledge of watching Kate and Isabella (of course). In the morning we went to my mom's house to watch the Old Times parade. It's pretty much just a bunch of tractors, fire engines, and big rigs rolling down the street and making a lot of noise. I've gone the past two years.....I love seeing all the tractors. (Plus mom literally has a front row view, it goes right in front of her house.) They always throw out lots of candy, which is fun. Grant and his girlfriend Jenny watched the parade and helped with the girls too. After the parade we ate and then Grant, Nathan, and I took the girls down to the pool. It was really nice, especially since it was so humid. Poor Isabella.....when she got out of the kiddie pool, she walked on the slippery part right around the pool, fell backwards, and slammed her head on the pavement. I felt SO BAD. I was right next to her. It happened so fast that I literally could even get my arm out to attempt to catch her until she had already hit her head. She cried and cried. She has a bump on the back of her head, and it bled a little bit, but thankfully she's okay. I'm just glad she didn't have to get stitches again.
